A current (or recently graduated) student looking for to learn a lot in a small business environnement. Ideally, you are:
- Passionate about web stuff
- Have good technical skills in back-end web programming, especially Python/Django or another similar language/framework combo
- Curious, organized, and thinking ahead about your next move
- You like to make things happen and drive well execution
- You are willing to work in a collaborative environment and understand the benefits of open source
It doesn't hurt if you don't have prior experience.
VidSF is a local news website that provides timely and concise video coverage of events for the San Francisco community.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP ROLE & BENEFITS
You role will be to assist our CTO in his daily work:
- Web application development
- Server maintenance
- Integration with third party servers for CDN, encoding, etc
- QA and testing
- Website editing
- Community management
- Analytics
We're a small team so you'll get to have a huge impact on who we are, and what we do. You'll also get to learn all about Video development, webtools and web marketing.
Also, we're based at PariSoMa (www.parisoma.com), a very nice coworking space dedicated to innovation, entrepreneurship and collaboration.
LOGISTICS
This is a full time unpaid internship. But potential hire after the internship.
It starts as soon as we find you (and have had a chance to review your resume, and interview you).
It's a minimum of 3 months.
Location: San Francisco - Soma (Howard and 10th)
